Brahma the four headed god who's wife is Saraswati the goddess of learning and science created the Universe. At one moment Brahma had to do a religious ceremony but he could not find Saraswati to be able to finish the ceremony he married Gayatri. At present times Brahma is not much worshipped. The Shivalingam at Gokarna is said to be erected by Brahma. Brahma used to have five heads but one of them was chopped off by Bhairava the angry manifestation of Shiva after Vishnu and Brahma had an argument about who was the most power full god. After Brahma used the argument that he was the most power because he created the universe Shiva got so angry because without his dance of creation there was no universe and without destroying there is no new beginning. Full with anger he incarnated in Bhairava and chopped off one of Brahma's head. Bhairava is the strong and angry manifestation of Shiva. Bhairava is one of the most importent gods in Nepal and a lot of temples are dedicated to him. Bairava can be seen with a dog who is his vehicle (vahana)
