The Baraha Chhetra Temple - Sunsari

The Baraha Chhetra (Kshetra) Temple (also called Varahakshetra) lies in the east of Nepal around 20 km from Dharan at the confluence of the Sapta Koshi and Koka rivers. The Baraha Chhetra temple is one of the most holy tirtha's (holy place near a confluence of a river) of Nepal.

Baraha / Varaha - third incarnation of Vishnu

Baraha or also called Varaha is the wild boar is the third incarnation of Vishnu. Baraha saved the world when after a demon took it to the bottom of the sea.

The Baraha Chhetra temple in the east of Nepal is dedicated to the fight of Baraha and the demon. 
There is a seperate purana the describes the Baraha incarnation of Vishnu.
