Sleeping Vishnu Budhanilkantha Temple
In the village of Budhanilkantha north of Kathmandu you find a thousend year old stone 5 meter tall sleeping Vishnu (Jalasayana) lying in the cosmic ocean resting on Ananta Sesa the thousend headed snake. The statue lies in the middle of a small pond.

Gosaikunda is a holy high altitude lake at 4380 meters in the Rasuwa district known for the Langtang mountain range area north of Kathmandu.

Muktinath Temple - Jiwala Mayi - Mustang
Muktinath temple in Mustang district close to Jomson and the famous Thorong La pass of the Anapurna circuit is a holy place for Hindus and Bhuddists.
Muktinath also known as Chumig Gyatsa has a temple with an eternal natural gas flame. Creating tree elements, water, earth and fire. Hindus call muktinath also muktichhetra wich means "place of salvation". Mukti = salvation. The hindu temple is Jiwala Mayi.
Vishnu's appeared as Changu Narayan in the Kathmandu Valley
On Dolagiri mountain lived the ascetic Sudarshana though a religous man he had a bit of a short temper. Though Sudarshana didn't have much posesions he was the proud owner of a brown cow. The cow always gave enough milk. But one day while the cow was grazing suddenly a man came out of a treetrunk and start drinking the cows milk. He drunk all milk straight from the cows utters and when he was finished the man dissapeared in the tree again.

Siddhashrama is mentioned in several ancient texts. For example in the story about Shiva and Parvati living in the Shlesmantaka forrest, which lies in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. But it is also mentioned several times in Valmiki Ramayana and text about Sai Baba tell us that Siddhashrama is within every person is a spiritual concept.
