Devghat or Deoghat at the confluence of the Trisuli and Kali Gandaki river is like the ghats of Pashupatinath one of the most holy place to be cremated in Nepal.

Ruru Chhetra is a very holy place in Nepal. Some even call it the Varanassi of Nepal. Ruru lies on the banks of the holy Gandaki river. Like in Muktinath also in Ruru one can find the holy saligram fosilis that represent Vishnu.

The main temple is the Rishikesh temple. Erected after the king of Palpa found a statue of the god Rishikesh in the Gandaki river.
