Yanglesho

 

Right to the temple of Sesh Narayan facing south is the cave Yanglesho where buddists believe Guru Padma Sambhava / Padmasambhava or better known as Guru Rinpoche who is the founder of Tibetan Buddism fought with snakes and turned them into stones. Guru Padma Sambhava also atained the Mahamudra vidyadhara level here which is the third level of the four vidyadhara levels.

Sesh Narayan Temple

Just before Parphing on the road to Dakshinkali you find the Sesh Narayan Temple. A temple with four ponds dedicated to Vishnu.

Sesh Narayan is on of te four main Narayan (Vishnu) temples of the Kathmandu Valley. The others are; Changu Narayan, Ichangu Narayan, Bishankhu Narayan.
