Guru Rinpoche - Padma Sambhava

Guru Rinpoche or Padma Sambhava is one of the founders of Tibetan Buddhism. Guru Rinpoche was born out of a lotus in Afghanistan. Where he was found and raised by a family. He learn his teaching mainly in India and then spread them in Nepal and Tibet.

Maratika - Khotang

Maratika for Hindu's Halesi Mahadev is for tibetan buddhism the cave of bringing death to an end. This is the cave where Padmasambhava (Guru Rinponche, the founder of Tibetan Buddism) and his wife Mandarava received the Vidyadhara of longevity.
