Baraha

Baraha or also called Varaha is the third incarnation of Vishnu as a wild boar. Baraha saved the world when after a demon took it to the bottom of the sea. This happened at the Varaha Temple in the south west of Nepal

 
 

The Baraha Chhetra Temple - Sunsari

The Baraha Chhetra (Kshetra) Temple (also called Varahakshetra) lies in the east of Nepal around 20 km from Dharan at the confluence of the Sapta Koshi and Koka rivers. The Baraha Chhetra temple is one of the most holy tirtha's (holy place near a confluence of a river) of Nepal.
