Shakti Peeth - Guheswari / Guheswori - Kathmandu

Guheswari (Guheswori), is one of the most famous shakti-peeths of Nepal. A shakti-peeth is a place where a piece of the body of the Sati fell while Shiva was carrying her corpse arround the world.
Guheswari where Sati's yoni (Vagina) fell is very close to the famous Pashupatinath temple just a few hundred meters upstream the holy Bagmati River.

Halesi Mahadev, Shiva's hideout for Bhasmasur

Halesi Mahadev has been a religious place for hindus as well as bhuddist since thousends of years. There are three caves that represent the three eyes of Shiva. Bhuddist who call these caves Maratika believe that Padmasambhava (the founder of Tibetan Bhuddism, the great Rinpoche) and his wife Mandarava freed themselves from the circle of lives and thus becomming immortal.

Siddhashrama ?
Siddhashrama is mentioned in several ancient texts. For example in the story about Shiva and Parvati living in the Shlesmantaka forrest, which lies in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. But it is also mentioned several times in Valmiki Ramayana and text about Sai Baba tell us that Siddhashrama is within every person is a spiritual concept.
